This is a test "project". More like a quiz. The price is so low, because 1) it's an easy task that I might give a student on a test and 2) if there is interest, I'll probably have a few people actually try and solve the problem. I'm looking for someone to whip up an efficient CUDA and/or OpenCL algorithm for pre-computing standard scores (see attached document for definition). This is a small portion of a larger project, and I'm testing out if there is interest and ability. This algorithm is preparatory work to allow us to take a very large number of time series and calculate the Pearson and/or Spearman correlations for every pair in as fast, precise, and efficient a manner as possible. Since the Spearman, once rank order is established, can devol...

Then if that result was available it would offer it to the customer to purchase it, accept credit card details through a payment gateway system, and then connect back to the ASIC system with an API and inform ASIC of the registration. I note that offer an API with their Pro account (allowing you to become a reseller) and that means you don't have to build your own API. I am not sure how much a Pro account would cost but this

I am looking for a freelancer to build a very simple mac app which renders an OpenCL-generated image in an OpenGL-backed view. The successful bidder should concentrate on making the CL-to-GL code as performant, clean and 'apple-esque' as possible. The built app's UI and kernel code is largely irrelevant (the CL-to-GL code will be integrated into another project which already has a UI and many kernels). App requirements - The app's user interface should consist of a single NSOpenGLView (or subclass) instance. The user's mouse position within this view will be tracked. - The app should create an OpenCL context (preferably using a GPU device). This context will be used to execute a kernel which generates an image that will be rendered by the NSOpenG...

I am looking for a programmer that has knowledge in developing and implementation of a Scrypt Jane Adaptive N-Factor Hybrid PoW/PoS Cryptocurrency. It must be an ASIC and Multipool resistant coin that uses a unique combination of hashing and mixing functions known as Scrypt Jane. The N-factor component of Scrypt determines how much memory is required to compute the hashing functions. N-factor increases with time to stay one step ahead of any possible ASIC development. For the long, foreseeable future, GPU computing will be the fastest method of computation for our coin, but CPU computation will eventually make gains as N-factor increases. The coin might have a different algorithm or proof of work, with "checkpoints" for a blockchain snapshot and a modular POW...

The microcontroller of choice is ATMEGA328 interfaced with a USB to UART device. We will have to determine if there is enough resources in the ATMEGA328 to handle the A1. Datasheet is attached. Hardware is very expensive and I only have one sample A1 and will not be shipped. I will connect all necessary pins and leave a dedicated PC for remote login for debugging and testing. Cgminer already has a driver showing how the A1 works. This is probably a very simple project for someone with an excellent knowledge of C and OpenCL. That, however, is not me! The code in question performs various operations in GPU memory. I am fairly sure that the memory is not being allocated / written to etc in an optimal way as it uses clCreateBuffer (no pinned memory) -> clEnqueueWriteBuffer and clFinish rather than what I think is the more efficient clCreateBuffer (pinned memory, written to in one command). It's hard to say much more than that as I only have a slight understanding of what I'm talking about. The code starts working at a very fast rate but then bogs down shortly afterwards, and I think that this is due to inefficient and/or slow use of memory. I would prefer to work with a developer in the U.S...
