Hi, I have a 6 strings acoustic guitar and untill 2015 to current time I test Android apps, from the beginning to the after-release stages. For example, my last app run different kinds of advertises (video, popup, banner, slideshow, sound and some others multimedia types) on Android devices (including TV receivers). The app has huge number of combination and the my job is to check all these combination work fine. I'm single tester for this project. The main task was to cover the project for 100% by different types of tests. The mandatory requirement was these tests should be adapted to repeat several times comfortable. To make the test coverage strong, I've created 1) basic acceptance test suite that should be run after each major modification and 2) several acceptance test suites for each module of the app. I use both special task and test management tools (like Phabricator or Squash) and Google Docs and Tables service. I'm free to use Android Studio, git, adb, create devices' emulators. I am able to apply for tests different Android devices. Here are some of them: HTC One M8 , LG Nexus 5 , Sony Xperia Z3 Compact , Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro (8.4). Feel free to ask questions!
