Creative fairy tale

I have younger siblings and some nephews, and I have spent many, many hours making up stories for them. Plus, I've never quite lost the child in me, and I still enjoy reading fantasy stories and novels. You can see my portfolio for an example of writing ( though we will need very simple english for a childrens story) A sample of the fairy tale story : ( your storyline may be different but just presenting a sample from my side to show my creativity ) In a far away land, there lived a boy named Mikey. During the winter vacation, he liked going out in the day and playing with snow. He had great talent and he loved making animals with snow. One day, while playing with snow, he wandered away from his house and found a small cave in the nearby valley. The snow near that cave was light blue. He felt curious and went inside the cave. He tried to explore the cave but found nothing. While coming out, he suddenly saw a jar full of marshmallows on a snow slab. He grabbed the jar and ate one of the marshmallows. They were really tasty. He finished almost half the jar when he heard someone's footsteps. The sound made him scared and he ran away as fast as he could. The next day he woke up, he felt bit strange. He tried to push his chair aside but it went really far with a small push. There was immense energy in his body. ......... ( to be continued)

Hello! I have a few different ideas in mind that might work for you, if you would like to take a look. Outlines can be developed very quickly (within the day) after we know which idea we're looking at. 1. A boy gets/has the power to grant wishes for anyone except himself. Grants wishes for anyone and everyone at first, which causes a lot of trouble. He leaves the area to be by himself for awhile and helps a few people gradually, learning to control how much of the wish is granted, and how to discern which ones are selfish, and which are actually good ones to grant. 2. Prince has a wide variety of magic, and can do whatever he'd like, and is thus spoiled. Parents pass and he becomes king, and is the same way. Kidnapped/deported by advisor, supposed to be killed but escapes. Ends up in a village which is distrustful of magic and no one does what he says, and is forced to learn to do things by hand. Eventually comes to understand that being different isn't always the best thing, and earns the trust/support of the villagers to take back his kingdom, and rules fairly, only using his magic when necessary. 3. Similar to #2, but the prince has only dangerous magic (fire or lightning, something wild and uncontrollable) and rules by fear. When he is kidnapped, he has something placed on him that will not allow him to use his magic, and can only come off if removed by a true friend, which he makes in the village, before taking back the kingdom. Hello there- My goal for this project would be to mix a combination of traditional fairy tales and bring a science fiction element into it that is not commonly used. The story focuses on an alien (XedriX) who is sad and lonely and learns of a planet (earth) of unique and different people. He comes here looking for love and assumes human form. After a long search through the cities he meets a young, shy girl (Sala) they both fall in love. He shares who is really is and they continue to stay together and decide to travel the universe. This is the essential essence of the story, willing to shape it to suit your needs. Thanks Greg
