This project is to implement a cross platform game which is designed to test a players listening and musical pitch abilities.
A range of notes spanning three octaves should be used (including accidentals), and a random note from that range should be selected.
The player will hear that note (short pulses) for a couple of seconds, and then hear their position on the grid.
Using arrow keys the player can move higher or lower until their note overlaps with the random note.
The player can fire using space, and if the player note and the random note exactly match, they have won that round.
At first the player should get a reasonable amount of time to get it right, but time should get progressively shorter as the game increases in difficulty.
After the player scores 25 correct games two random notes should be introduced, and three at 50, again starting with the longer time and getting progressively shorter.
A random bonus round should be introduced occasionally where the random note actually moves from high to low or low to high.
The player gets three lives in total.
The player should be given the option of submitting their best score to the online score board (this is a web service which I will be implementing which accepts the users score, name and email address, and some sort of authentication token which I’ll have to work out the details of).
The preferred solution would be for you to write this game in Java, though I’ll consider anything that can run on both Mac and Windows.
Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Hi, I can write this in Python. I've done a bit similar project not such long time ago(music compositor for mobile phones), so I have some experiences with working with the sound as well as coding games. I believe you would be very happy with my work, please contact me if you are interested.
