I have a server and due to a recent server crash (files had been mysteriously deleted from the /bin folder even though the HDD's had mirror raid and the HDDs were in perfect condition. 1) Anyway, the question is if I need 2 or 3 servers for making a cluster with MySQL database - and why. 2) I also want to replace the Cpanel i use today with a freeware control panel such as webmin.com. Question is...If a new server is getting all data copied over from the "old server" - and then a "switch" is made - will my "new server" then be up and running immediately orr should I expect problems besides re-creation of SSL certificates. 3) If you have suggestions how all the files in the /bin folder have been deleted even though 2 HDDs were in mirror raid and the HDD's where in perfect health then that would be very interesting (this is not part of the bid - just if you want to comment). It had apache 4.1 installed. Please write your background for answering these questions and please wait with answering these questions til a coder has been found and money has been put in escrow (according to RAC rules). Any other tips are also welcomed.
