Here if applicable to you project you need to compare and contract different designs justifying your design decisions and choices. You also need to show your understanding of software development methodologies, compare and contrast 2 it 3 design methodologies and choose on that is suitable for your project, justifying your reasons. The software development methodology you choose much then be used and shown to be used in your projects. You might need to think about user interface design aspects here as well if it applies to your project.
