Migration from Amazon AWS to Amazon SP-API

I currently have an application written in MS Access using VBA. This application contains all my products, my clients, and their orders. This application polls Amazon, eBay and Walmart as well as our own websites for any new orders every 15 minutes. If any new orders are found, the orders are imported into our system and then processed. For orders on Walmart, eBay and our websites we connect to both FedEx and UPS servers to determine the best shipping rate for that package based upon weight, dimensions, and delivery location. For Amazon orders, we first attempt to use AmazonBuyShipping to ship the order, and if for some reason that is unavailable, we ship locally and update Amazon tracking via a feed. The application prints the shipping label and appends a packing list to the bottom of each label. This application is written entirely in-house and uses no third-party modules. All code was written by us in VBA and all the calculations, such as Amazon signature is in native VBA. There are no “black-boxes”. We are approved by Amazon as Private Developers and our application is already approved as well. We recently were reapproved by Amazon to have access restricted information (PII) for the new SP-API. I need someone to help me migrate to Amazon’s new SP-API. o establish the log in and token retrieval (if that is correct) o prepare headers for GetOrders and o GetOrder/(order#) (to get the order item details) o prepare header for GetEligibleShippingServices o CreateShipment o GetShipmentAgain (for orders that get an error, or labels that get lost) I may need help parsing the results returned. We have done this using the current AWS, but if there are differences, we may require some assistance getting started. Additionally, I will need help • Updating my feeds that mark the order shipped and sends Amazon the tracking information (for orders that do not use AmazonBuyShipping) • Updating the feed that Cancels an order, for clients that request order cancellation I can send you snippets of my code and you can help me to integrate them into the software. The entire program is gigantic, and I think the best way to approach it the is to finish each section first. 1. Login and Authorization to SP-API (milestone) 2. Get the Order (milestone) 3. Get the Order Details (milestone) 4. GetEligibleShippingServices (milestone) 5. Create the Shipment (milestone) 6. GetShipmentAgain (using the ShipmentID, in case we get an error, etc.) (milestone) 7. Then the 2 feeds. (milestone) With our current workload, we do not have the time to re-write the procedures. We would rather use someone with experience and expertise and then use the code snippets and integrate them into our current application. We still anticipate a considerable amount of work mapping new variables, etc. As you know with Amazon, you can spend hours trying to “iron-out” the nuances to some of their badly documented procedures. And it appears that this go-around, there are less examples to learn from. The new code must be written in VBA. No additional modules or references to install. No external websites, no external APIs, other than to Amazon SP-API. No “black-boxes”. I have more work after this, so if this goes well, we can work together on new projects. Such as creating new feeds to update inventory and prices and add bar code scanning and inventory control, etc.
