Help me write something

My brother and I both have grown up hearing ghost stories, and we have always beloved in ghost. My mom is Mexican, and in the Mexican culture spirits are very prevalent. Although my brother and I believed, we had never seen anything before. My family decided to take a trip to San Diego for my cousins wedding. My brother and I hadn't seen each in a few months, he is in the Air Force, so we decided to go out drinking. While we were at one bar having a good time, reminiscing about our family, we got on the topic of Ghost. My moms side of the family is large, my mom is one of 12, so her sisters have all has some kind of encounter. As we were talking about all these weird encounters and stories mannerisms kind of changed. So he proceeds to say something around the lines of "year I had some weird S***, happened to me". So on my brothers bases in New Jersey, there is an area that many try to avoid if possible. Sometime in the past there was a mental institution (already creepy enough), that had been shut down. Apparently more than a few people have heard the sound of little kids laughing. On this same route people have also claimed to see a freight truck speeding behind them. My brother was told early on and totally forgot about it the night he had to drop his friend around that area. After dropping off my brothers friend, he was passing the area of the Mental institution, when he heard two little girls in his car. I know my brother was not lying because I could tell in his voice, and in his mannerism he was still shaken up. After hearing the girls he turning on his radio to drowned out any noise. A short time after this my brother saw blaring lights in the rear view mirror. At first he thought nothing of it, but the lights became brighter and brighter as they got closer. My brother as this point could see a truck the rear view mirror, and started to speed like crazy. My brother was so scared by this point because he was going as fast as he could, and still could not shake the truck. My brother was so frightened he closed his eyes, and clinched onto the string wheel, anticipating the impact. Nothing, happened when he opened his eyes the truck was gone.
