We’re interested in developing either a short-term project subcontract relationship or a long-term strategic partnership based on the quality of the outcome.
Our collaboration will be based on:
Providing full design and digital delivery of a project information model (PIM) ready to transition to an asset information model (AIM) - the team executing the work will be responsible for designing & managing the project as opposed to be managed by ACB employees
At the beginning of the project you’d be given a handover pack consisting of 2D drawings (PDF/CAD) where the model might not always be present, but our deliverable will have to be based on a 3D model (sometimes developed from scratch) with all elements modelled. The final outcome will be 2D construction drawings extracted from the 3D Model. With a focus on the 2D detail drawings. See project attached.
A note on the details - you’d need to liaise with suppliers to make assure the details are sound for construction, manufacture and fabrication.
During the handover you’ll be inducted on;
Project deadlines & milestones
Project type, elements to be modelled and excluded from modelling. Where Pinnacle will develop a - - Responsibility Matrix (RM), and commit to delivering to LOD500.
Lessons learnt from ACB’s previous projects and things to watch out for
Introduction to the team & ACB’s point of contact
Pinnacle can record the session for reference purposes
A note on point of contact from ACB’s side, this person will assist in critical scenarios but not manage the subcontracted design team on a daily basis
Works will have to be carried out through our BIM360 platform, however you’d need to provide your own BIM360 Design Collaboration & Docs licenses
Project will have to be carried out in full compliance with BS1192 & PAS1192-2, and with an aim to transition to ISO19650 in the near future (this will be instructed & inducted when required)
We’re interested with a flat figure for a project delivery as opposed to hourly rate charges, therefore could you provide an estimate on:
Resources allocation, listing out
the potential candidates indicating including their experience in relevant projects, capabilities and degrees
Examples of previous shop drawings with a focus on the technical details
Estimated delivery timeframe for a project similar to the attached below (DUB062 - datacentre).
Estimated cost of delivery based on your resource allocation & estimated timeframe
Upon failure to deliver targets or missed deadlines & milestones, what’s the recovery plan and the action plan. How will this be monitored, tracked and reported to assure we’re on track with project’s deadlines?
If successful we’ll proceed towards forging a path for long term partnership
If deemed not successful, ACB may decide to rescind the contract
