DTMF Detector is the application to detect and convert the dial tone to command. What i need to do is for quiz. Maximum will get connected and participate in the quiz is 10 caller in the same time. The application will detect who was the faster answer the question and the correct answer. Let say the objective answer is 1. India 2. America 3. Romania. When user press the dial tone to number 1, it will convert the dial tone to answer number 1. Please advice the technology and the equipment for this project. Thank you.

I have a pre-created software just for this. It is written in Visual Basic/C and requires compatibility with a full-duplex modem. It will only hold one phone line per computer so you would essentially require 10 computers and compare the answers/response times. DTMF tones are only recognizable in USA. Please PM me to determine the compatibility of my pre-written software with your plans.

You can write software to do the job, but like one bidder said, you will need 10 machines. What you really need is an IVR (interactive voice response) solution. I have created some IVR solutions for insurance companies who want their providers to be able to dial-in and get benefit/eligbility information. You will need a Dialogic board and IVR software. My bid is for programming the IVR software.

Im a TAPI Devloper and can implement your need in C++ or VB i can send you one of my "shelf products" based on tapi that recognize DTMF to demonstare the ability. you will need 10 computers or special hardware to be able recieving 10 phone calls at a time.. this is the costy part here. feel free to contact so we can formulate your needs better. oriel
