My team is seeking a writer to turn our ideas into a formal and correctly formatted television series script. The current project is a crime/thriller series. We have the treatment and also a character breakdown. This project is for writers that would like a chance to grow with our company and eventually become an on-staff writer for all of our projects. With that said, there is no up-front payment and the writer will receive a share of the profits as a partner once sold to a network. We currently have interest from NBC, Netflix, YouTube red and HBO. However, we must have a full pilot episode(22-25 pages) of the script and a mini bible (5 pages) showing character development throughout the series.

Hi there. It sounds like an interesting opportunity, although I am a little concerned that from the description, it sounds like a fee will only be paid if you secure a partner - and then as a profit share rather than based on the number of hours worked. Is this correct? In terms of why I'm the strongest candidate, I have a degree in Creative Writing. I've also written screenplays for visual novels and for a children's cartoon series previously.
