I need an essay written on the writing and translations of a book Siddhatha.
There are plenty of articles online and I need the following themes highlighted
1. Hermann Hesse's long struggle and spiritual search while writing the book, the second part of the book took a very long time to finish? exactly? because Hesse sought enlightenment himself and was unable to finish the? story? unless he actually? experienced? what he was writing about.
2. There are numerous translations of the book, Penguins seems to be an exceptionally bad one, big publishing houses retranslated the book to gain right of an already public domain book and control sales. This however often backfired as translations were not that great. Hesse's book is best read in German but the best? translation? is? **Anke Dreher, Amy Coulter, Stefan Langer and Semyon Chaichenets.**
