I need a small process for internal office use that catches and redirects traffic. The process will have to update its info from a php request that returns JSON (that we already made) once a day. It's preferred that the process will have no pre-requisite at all. (e.g. .NET) It must work on all Windows computers. Browser extensions or toolbars are an example of how NOT to do it, as they're limited to browsers. It should have an installer that installs the whole thing in the background with no installation window of any kind, simply executing once must do the job.

This project falls under native Windows development, which is what I am best at. The application should be very straightforward and easy to implement, but intercepting (and then modifying) network traffic will be tricky. I'll let you know when I figure out the solution.
