Creating custom strategies involves writing code using NinjaScript , I cam start now We define a new strategy class CustomMovingAverageCrossoverStrategy. Inside the class, we declare two variables fastSMA and slowSMA of type SMA (Simple Moving Average). These will hold the moving average indicators. In the OnStateChange method, we configure the strategy's properties in the SetDefaults and Configure states. We override the OnBarUpdate method where the strategy logic is implemented. It checks for crossovers between the fast and slow moving averages and executes long or short trades accordingly. The properties FastMAPeriod and SlowMAPeriod are defined with appropriate attributes to specify their ranges and how they should be displayed in the UI. Once compiled, you can apply the strategy to a chart by right-clicking on the chart, selecting "Strategies," and then selecting your custom strategy from the list.
