We are an innovation consultancy currently working on a project for a major UK financial institution. We need to automate a process, moving some paper forms to electronic versions and automating the way they are filled in. This will involve taking some data from Excel and injecting it into a series of Word documents based on a set of rules. We would like to get a prototype tool do this this up and running ASAP, so we can test and iterate.

Skills: deep knowledge of automating Microsoft Word and Excel using Visual Basic. VBA skills alone are not sufficient.
Location: We are based in Farringdon, London. Ideally you will be able to come into our office, but we will consider working with someone anywhere in the world.
Schedule: Start ASAP, early May at the latest. Length of project to be discussed, but we'll likely want to contract you for a few days at first and then commit further after that.
Budget: to be agreed, but we expect to match or beat what other companies pay for similar work.
