I have an excel spreadsheet containing a list of songs (song name and artist name) and corresponding youtube video URLs.
The problem is youtube often has many different versions of the same song
The previous freelancer did not always do a good job choosing
I need you to go through the list in that excel file, and, for each song, click on the url to load the youtube video. First step is to determine if the excel url is a video of a live/concert version (where you can see people performing the song). If it is, and only if it is, try to find another version, by searching youtube using the song name and artist name as search keywords.
A good version is both:
- a version of this song (same song name) and by the artist specified on the list
- and an audio-only version.
I want to avoid a TV or live show version. However youtube has some video where the only visual elements is the song lyrics. In that case it's fine and you can save the url into the excel file.
Do not spend too much time on a song: when trying to find the right version, you should only look at the first 5 results.
If you have found a song and modified the url, write "new" in the "comment" column. If you tried but could not find it, write "not found"
If the excel url is not a live/convert version, you have nothing left to do with this song, just skip to the next
Amount of work: - 200 songs in file 1 , 40 songs in file 2
