I wish I had more clients who had this clarity of what is required. As I see it there will be 3 or 4 departments that will be handling the entire process from receipt to dispatch. Each of them might require a different module to work with - for example: When a registration desk person logs into the database he should see the forms where he can log in repair requests and also know the status of each of the phones being repaired. When an Engineer logs in he should see the phones that are to be repaired and the status of those under repairs. The parts section must see a list of new part requests - be able to determine if the part is available and also look up the status of parts not in stock but have been ordered. I think MS Access will be the perfect platform for you to build this database. I look forward to discussing the project in more details with you.
