Hello there. I need a C# developer to provide the file writing steps needed in a .NET 6 solution. Your code needs to write files from tool classes and extension methods. The files will be serialised and deserialised class models (of Newtonsoft Json). This will require test driven C# implementations. Your implementations will complete unimplemented methods and properties that cause integration test failures (and is not as complex as it sounds). The Visual Studio test explorer will guide you through what tests need to pass. Some tests will need to be extended to work with your implementations. I will post screenshots of some of the tests. There are 4 tests, but if you’d like to, feel free to add more. Most tests will be looking at the resulting content of files and your tool model class. The Blender tool model is a class where most of the work needs to be done. I have provided a screenshot to show some of the methods. Some methods are not there because they are made optional through extensions method imports, which apply to this class but only when some methods are favoured over others. This model is to have its name used to format a python script, and to have a list of strings serialized to be read by the script running in Blender. You’ll need Blender to write a small responding string file back for the .NET integration tests. The files will be for Blender, and they’ll be copies of the examples provided by the Blender foundation addons guide. This guide demonstrates how python script files define Blender addons. The C# code will need to make a copy of a ‘hello world’, basic, bare bones addon template to watch for requests using Blender’s thread timers, and to write a small response file back to C#. Additionally, this needs to be for two versions of Blender, and the model specifies which one execute. I will share a link to the git repository. You’ll need to be able to run Blender 3.5 and Blender 2.79 on your machine. If awarded, we can discuss any details you need from me. You do not need to be an expert users of Blender.
