PROJECT : To extract the data from a website and make excel file and image files. Go to [login to view URL], there are 161 brand of printer, and each brand has several models. We have to make the model files for spread sheet and for the images of the models. You have to click on the brand then you will get the list of models of that brand of printer, click on the model and you will get the image of that specific models plus a list of the cartridges. Don’t worry about the cartridges, we need to creat a spread sheet (excel file) for the model details as follow : model_title model_series color brand_id category_id model_images (Example model is DCP-J125 of Brother) Model Title = Model name (DCP-J125) Model Series = Series Name (DCP) Color = printers color (Black or Color) Brand_id = (from the brand file) Attached Category_id = (from Category file) Attached Model_images = image name of the model plus exetension (for image, you have to right click on the model image, and save the image file in a separate image folder with the extension of that image i.e. jpg) The same name of image has to given in to the field of model_images. The record in each file should not be exceeds 50, for example when you are making the model files for brother printers, and the total model are 700 then there would be 14 excel file and 14 image files. The name of the excel file should be brother 1 of 14 and image file should be brother_image 1 of 14 etc. Files for following printer has to make first : Epson, Kodak, Brother, Canon, HP, Lexmark, Samsung, Dell, IBM, Kyocera, Richo, Sharp, Panasonic, Toshiba, Konica Minolta, Compaq, IBM, Xerox, NEC, Apple
