excel formula(google spreadsheet)

I need couple excel formulas which will work on google spreadsheets: first formula I have 2 sheets one for data entry and 2nd to show the data entry in organised way (like a report). sheet1 contain repeated names and value for each name unique or repeated .. so in sheet2 the formula will lookup for the last entry for a specific name in column A copy value of column B in that row. second formula it is like an alert using time stamps. basically when someone put an entry a time stamp will appear next to it. again sheet1 will have name and timestamp, sheet 2 will look for the last entry of a specific name and then go to the cell where the time stamp is and calculate if the time now- time stamp=< 8 hrs then cell in sheet2 text will turn RED and backround will turn red also.
