Design souvenir merchandise

I live in a small town in Australia that has recently become a cruise ship destination. I’m looking to develop a series of high quality art designs in an stylised art deco style that reflect specific parts of the town/region /landscape and historical buildings for use on a variety of tourist merchandise such as tote bags, t towels, t shirts, jigsaw puzzles etc. The attached is a copyrighted artwork that I love. It is attached as an example of the kind of ‘style’ of art that I am aiming for but the end design should also have the feel of a classic retro vintage travel poster. I understand that the artwork would need to be developed initially and then individual product design would need to be made to turn that artwork into the relevant printable files. The intention here is to produce something really unique and beautiful in design. Something that you could frame and hand on your wall. I would want to start working with the artist on a single artwork design to start with and then depending on, the success of our working relationship and how well you ‘get’ my vision and style.. and the success of any product sales I would envisage developing a large suite of various designs over time as the company and product lines get established. When working I would plan on providing you with photos of the relevant locations/buildings, descriptions of what I want done and any accompanying text. Please quote fixed fee for developing a single artwork design. Then an hourly rate for any ongoing work to turn that design into printable files for various products.
