Important: I want to work directly with the person who is going to do the job, not with any project manager. I am looking for a Node developer to maintain and extend an existing 'connector' program that updates Shopify listings with information from supplier APIs and supplier websites (using scraping), and automatically passes on orders from our Shopify shop to the suppliers via their APIs. Extension of the program involves implementing existing functions for new suppliers. The original developer will be on hand to introduce you to the code and answer any queries you may have. I am looking for a Javascript/Node developer with intermediate experience in Shopify and AWS. Skills and Experience Required: - Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js - Intermediate experience with Shopify and AWS - Ability to work with APIs and integrate third-party services - Experience with database management and optimization - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain the back-end functionality of the website using JavaScript and Node.js - Implement and customize Shopify features and integrations - Set up and configure AWS services for hosting and deployment - Optimize website performance and ensure scalability - Collaborate with the front-end development team to integrate APIs and third-party services - Troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise during development If you have the skills and experience you need and can commit to the estimated timeline, please submit your proposal.
