Redesign a comunity site

I run a Danish hardware review site with an attached community that is attracting most of our traffic. The design of the site is getting really dated and need to be updated with an urgent need to introduce a responsive design to give users of tablets and phones a better experience. We have tried back and forth with an update of our own making but we are a bit stuck so we need outside input. The current site can be seen at [login to view URL] I have a few requirements for the design. 1. The menu at the top needs to be above the topbanner. 2. the blue color in the logo or something close needs to be in the site somehow 3. the menu on the left "Seneste forumindlæg" need to be kept in some degree as our users use that feature all the time. 4. Responsive design that work well on everything from phones to desktop. I need a framework for the entire site but if you concentrate on the following subpages. Frontpage. The content on the site is changing and our current FrontPage dont reflect that We dont need the old fashioned colums we just need a effective way to communicate news on the site no matter what category. But one thing that we do need is to highlight our sales forum (køb/salg on the site) so a way to expose that content on the FrontPage would be really good. Forum Thread. [login to view URL] Basically we dont need that much new here the forum is intentionally kept simple and text only so most of the work would be on the responsive part so the forum thread work well on phones etc. Sales forum [login to view URL] This is one of the parts that I expect to grow in the future and I could really use some input that can drive the traffic. The system supports pictures so the overview should properly include a small profile picture somehow.
