Hi Mark,
description is very clear, but I still have couple of questions. First of all, does the painting need to be that big? It is hard to find canvas or paper of that size. Second, would you accept highest quality paper instead of a canvas?
I'm a traditionally trainted artist, mostly working as an old-school illustrator, but gladly accepting fine art commissions as well. I'm comfortable with all traditional media, and what is more, I have already been commissioned a "Where's Waldo" work for a very special Christmas card (I'll share it with you upon request). I understand that you are not exactly looking for a funny cartoony style, but rather more artistic one, which only makes the project more atractive. My quote is for a detailed handcrafted, done from scratch painting 100 X 70 in watercolour/gouache and the postal expenses are not included. I would first share pencil sketch and proceed with painting only after it is approved. Should you, however, insist on 100 X 150 cm canvas, I'd gladly discuss terms over chat.
Hope to hear from you,
Kind regards,
Dusica
