~~ Summary ~~
Our study's objective is to compare a pair of video-viewing tools, on how effectively they help you study. The study procedure is:
1) Study 2 sets of lecture videos for 40 minutes apiece, and fill out a brief survey after each of them
2) The next day, fill out some online exams which test the material you had studied the previous day
This study will take about 2-3 hours total (over 2 days).
~~ Requirements ~~
* You need to be a student (undergraduate or graduate) at a university located in an English-speaking country (USA, UK, Canada, etc), or have recently graduated from such a university (earned some degree within the past 4 years).
* You should NOT have prior exposure to neuroscience at the university level (ie, if you have ever taken a course called "Introduction to Neuroscience" or similar, please do NOT sign up for this job).
~~ Detailed Procedures ~~
The procedures are listed in more detail below:
=== Day 1 ===
1) We will email you 4 URLs. 2 of them will be links to a set of video lectures, 2 of them will be a set of surveys about the video viewers you used to view them.
2) Whenever you're free, spend 40 minutes studying the first set of lecture videos. Study the videos as though you were studying for an exam. Please spend all 40 minutes studying the video - if you reach the end of the videos, keep studying the video material until the 40 minutes end.
3) Fill out a survey about your experience viewing the first set of lectures with this video-viewing tool. [Takes about 10 minutes].
You can take a break at this point, of up to 2 hours.
4) Spend 40 minutes studying the second set of lecture videos. Follow the same procedure as for the first set of lecture videos [spend all 40 minutes studying].
5) Fill out a survey about your experience viewing the second set of lectures with this video-viewing tool. [Takes about 10 minutes].
=== Day 2 ===
The following day, you will be emailed a pair of new URLs pointing you to exams you should fill out online. Fill the exams out approximately 24 hours after you had started watching the videos (ie, at around the same time of day). These are closed-notes exams - do not refer to external sources, or the videos, as you fill out each exam. Email geza at [login to view URL] once you have submitted the exams, you'll get your payment within a day or two.

This project sounds very interesting.
I finished an MA in Strategic Design last June and have been interning and freelancing since then. I am currently looking for a job - and so I have time to spare to devote to this study.
I live in Milan currently. Prior to that I lived in London for 2 years. Before that, in India and Zambia - so, English is my mother tongue.
Looking forward to it!
