Magento Onepage hangs between steps 4 and 5. No javascript/ajax errors come up in firebug when it happens, no error reports get left behind - no indication that anything is wrong, except that it isn't working. I've looked through many solutions online for the Magento Onepage Checkout Template Bug, I haven't seen one that has effectively worked.
