Hi there!
I have 20 yrs of experience in programming for rendering and modeling software. Just to mention some relevant points: I am
- author of original trueSpace bone system,
- one of the first contributors to Blender project as an open source,
- Perlin-based facial expression researcher,
- co-author of interesting bi-ped/quadro-ped animation system (humans, horses,...), where we applied medical/vet data about joint degree of freedoms and limitations
- author of many projects built on OpenGL (from 3D APIs I use OpenGL, not Direct3D),
- linux programmer (for 15+ yrs) and fan,
- MakeHuman user (but I didn't code or looked into it's source code yet),
- C/C++ is my "mother" language (i use more, e.g. python for scripting Blender)
You mentioned OpenGL. Blender is hiding the low OpenGL level in the software. Are you sure the project is primarily related to OpenGL?
I saw other bidders proposals (they are public). They seems like fine programmers, but not specialists to what is described in the project. You can hire one of them, get satisfied, but I offer you more than "above average". Look into my profile here. 100% jobs completed,...
I am bidding here rarely, just if i am very interested and the project fits to my skills. You won't see "nice pictures" for wow effect in my portfolio - I can send u relevant pictures, source codes snippets, etc. privately, if you want.
You will have project analysis for free (just ask or say hello in the chat).
good luck with the ptoject,
Enam.
