Write an Android application for noise sensing

Noise Mapping Android Application Important Points • App must be developed using Android studio • Deliver the source code Introduction The required android app will be used to map the noise levels in a city. What the app should do in background? The app records the noise level through the built in microphone when there is no user activity at regular intervals (say every 10 or 20 seconds). This sound level from each user is to be stored along with its location (co-ordinates) and time stamp. The sound level readings should be calibrated with atleast two different models of smart phone. A text or csv file of all the sound level records should be created and uploaded to a server every hour (or as soon as internet connectivity is available after 1 hour duration is passed). This upload should also contain a signature of the smart phone model. What the app interface should do? The app interface will ask user feedback in form of questions (2 or 3 maximum) regarding their level of comfort due to noise. We will provide these questions. Record the user feedback, store it and upload hourly to the server. The side bar should have a user login through Google+ or facebook. An automated tweet with #noisemap_cityname should be generated with predefined / custom text and image received from the server after analysis of noise levels. Similarly, an option to share the noise map image through Google+ and facebook should be provided. How the app communicates? The app sends the hourly data of noise levels and user feedback to a server. This data is sent for analysis. The result of analysis is published in the form of a noise map of the city (an image). This image, generated as a result of analysis, is stored on a server from where the app can retrieve it for users to see the noise map of the city. You do not have to take care of the analysis. It will be done by our team. The result of analysis is an image file. This file is sent to app via a server, can be downloaded by user, used as image for automated tweet, sharing on Google+ or facebook.
