Web based recommendation system using user based collaborative filtering

This web application provides recommendations for the user using collaborative filtering method . Here this web application contains list of movies, books, music and apps .The user is allowed to give ratings for the movie or book or music or app whatever he wants . After giving ratings he was allowed to see the recommendations and can also be allowed to give ratings to recommended things also. The recommendations are provided to the user using collaborative filtering which uses users similarity. The admin has only the capability to insert new data nothing but inserting new movie or book or music or apps by using his credentials and should aware of his users credentials also. The users are allowed to give ratings and get recommendations by login with their credentials .The recommendations should be given only to the particular category for which he gave ratings for example if he gave ratings to the movie then he should get recommendations belongs to movies only, if he gave ratings to the books then he should get recommendations only for books., likewise for music and apps also.
