Investment simulation script, with worst, low,high,best scenarios, correct to handle Quarterly and HalfYearly deposits

This is a existing script that handle the simulation of investment according to different parameters ``{ "timeframeInYears": 8, "profileYield": 0.9, "volatility": 2.0, "initialAmount": 10000, "recurringAmount": 400, "recurringAmountInterval": "halfYearly" }``` The original script only handle MONTHLY deposits, the goal to this project is to handle QUARTERLY, HALF YEARLY, ANNUAL deposits and to match the excepted results. The current script has been commented, and modified to try to handle Quarterly and the others methods, but the result are a bit different than the excepted results, just by a bit, my guess is that somewhere there is a wrong calculation, but I cannot get where. The output of the modified script for Monthly is still valid. The change needed to complete the project should be very small and probably will not take so much time, thus this project is for 1 day.
