This project will require knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL. What I want is a game which works similar to <[login to view URL]>. If you register and create an account and play for maybe 5 minutes, you will see what is required. I only want a very basic game. Basically I want...
Site template using HTML/CSS. No images
Registration system
Login system
Game window(will be one constant page and will use iframes to display ingame screens. Three which will be required. The first frame which will go in the top left hand corner will contain the player statistics. The top right frame will have enemies to fight. You click a button to fight. The fight is processed in the same frame. Only a very basic combat system will be required, which I can help with. This section shouldn't take longer than 1 hour. In the bottom frame will be an in-game chat. When a player kills an enemy, a message should appear in the chat for only that player to see. All players will see all other messages which are sent via the chat frame.)
The game will rely on javascript, using PHP to process server side calculations, such as battles etc. Stats will be displayed using javascript and common messages will be held in arrays.
A level-up function will also be required. I estimate that the required coding will take no more than maybe 12 hours of coding. Give or take a few hours depending on experience etc.
JavaScript will be used to control time between fights. Probably just by disabling the button for several seconds.
I can provide a more detailed description of the project if you require it. I can also provide assistance with the coding and help guide you in the right direction as I am an experienced PHP coder myself. I do not want an OOP coded system. I will design the database for the project, so all you need to do is be familiar with getting data from a mysql database.
