I started a web design company and I am a bit overloaded, my partner is "under the weather". I am looking for partners for several other projects, not just this one. We have a customer who who wants a website consisting of three pages. The theme is an ugly furniture contest, whoever uploads the worst furniture gets free furniture! The first page will be an introduction and describe the territory of the contest, a couple pics, and an intro. The second page is the key. He wants a photo display of pictures that internet users uploaded to enter in the ugly furniture contest. He wants the ability to approve or deny the pics and upload them himself. Some descriptive text under the pictures would be nice. The challenge is creating a way for my customer to upload, deny and approve pics, without teaching him FTP or web design. I was thinking about an iframe with photobucket. Or maybe Dreamweavers photo gallery. I am open to suggestions. The current estimate I gave him, and he is seems content with - is $800. I keep the first $50 of all work, plus 20% of any amount over $200. For this $800 estimate, subtract $50 plus 20% of $600, which is $120. $800-$50-$120 = **$630 - the amount you get. ** Likewise for future projects, the percentages would be the same. For our $200 starter package, I keep $50 and **you keep $150**. So ask yourself, are you willing to create 4 page websites for $150? (More below) ## Deliverables Our basic $200 web package is described as: *** ***1)A "Homepage" with introduces your company and services. 2) A basic "Services" or "Products" page that describes your products and prices. 3)A "Directions" page in which the user imputs their address onto a form and gets directions to your location. 4)A "Contact Us" page which contains a form which enables users the ability to leave you a message that is fowarded to your email. 5) Your email address with your company name: <YourEmail@[login to view URL]> Although this almost never happens, I do have the discretion to give customers refunds, so you are taking a small chance. Even if they sign a contract. We are a small friendly company and and treat customers like customers and not by a number. We run into people that have been scammed, and hate big companies and corporate nonsense. Some of our customers ask that we use a template to keep the cost down. We use Dreamweaver CS3. Whatever measure you want to keep the cost down, templates, CSS, dreamweaver extensions or sitecreator software, our $200 web packages are meant to be that way. We ask the customer first if its ok to use a template. Your resume will become our resume. If you know any scripting languages, we will add that to our site, and say "We now offer PHP" or "We now do Joomala"...you will help us expend into other areas. I first created the company for small easy sites and now I am getting more complicated requests. Anyway, getting back to this bid, the third page will simply be the legal text as created by the clients laywer. The customer already knows what background color he wants. You would sign a contract with me at first, you can't steel my clients, you cant disclose my clients names to your friends until after the project is done, and if you talk to my clients you cant mention any other company name as your current employer. If my client gives you a referal, I still get 15% of that referals business. If any client is within a 50 mile radius of me, it's as if the client came from me. You are our "Go to" guy (or gal). I am looking for a person to generate trust with for future projects, at some point I want to be able to paypal you some money and say "insert video" or "interview client" without writing long contracts or descriptions on rentacoder.com. I need to trust you. I also need someone to ask Dreamweaver CS3 questions, especially on CSS and template editable regions. And optional editable regions... <webdesigner23@[login to view URL]> 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). * * *This broadcast message was sent to all bidders on Thursday Apr 3, 2008 2:19:42 AM: I am looking for a good non-disclosure agreement and subcontractors agreement to use before I make decisions on this bid. I cannot find any good examples online, if anyone has them please post them here. ## Platform Last two versions of major browsers.
