Description: I have a flash navagation system set up to browse through a company's inventory by catagory (see attachment). However, none of the links are active because Im not sure how best to deliver the requested inventory results to the viewer. I think zen-cart is the best way to go. What do you think? Request: I need a system that implements a zen-cart (or similar) system into the flash navagation design. Im open to your ideas, However, I do have some criteria. Criteria: 1. The flash should not reload each time a new catagory is selected and displayed. 2. It must be quick 3. It must be easy to update the inventory. (The current inventory database is an ezdb system that the company used to use. Im not sure if its the best system to keep considering the new design/layout changes.) 4. It must be compatable across browser platforms. 5. It must follow this example: **Example Start** 1. The user clicks on the left flash navigtion menu and selects "hand tools." 2. The flash menus stay put and do not reload, but the rest of the page loads small square images of all of the hand tools in the inventory(dont worry about making the images, we got that covered). Under each image is the name of the product and under that is the asking price. 4. When the user hovers over one of the images, a small white outline appears around it (thats easy). There is a "sort by price" feature at the top of the page. 5. Under the products is a row of "common accessories." They are labeled like the products, except they are kept seperate under the heading. 6. The user clicks on the product he wants to see (either by clicking the image or the text). 7. A popup window is created (one that isnt blocked) with the product name, a big image of the product, the description, and the price at the bottom. Under that is a submit questions about this product form that asks for name, number, time to call, company, email, and questions. 8. The user fills it out and a small screen appears after he submits and says thanks! 9. The user then click on another catagory and the squares of products are replaced with new products without the flash navigation having to reload. **Example End** Notes: We are a great company to work with. Just make sure you do all that is expected, take initiative to fill gaps, and offer suggestions. Thanks and good luck!
