I have mjpeg (motion jpeg, not mpeg!) files that my axis webcam generates. I need to extract the jpegs frames from the mjpeg files and save them in sequence. Something like:
mjpegtojpeg [input_dir][input_file] [output_dir]
Example:
mjpegtojpeg c:[login to view URL] c:axis_cam1out
This will save the jpegs with the same file name as the input but with a sequential number and .jpg extension:
etc.......
I will need an exit code or a hook to trigger another program (ftp script) when it finishes extracting.
The MJPEG file is easy to parse. The JPEG frames are easy to identify in the files. I can help you with this. It's just that I don't have the programming experience to do this. I could imagine that this could be done in C/C++ very quickly.
