Pattern Recognition/ Data Mining

We have existing table with data from a meta search travel engine. The data shows specific results from specific providers (provider_id). The goal of this project is to recognize patterns of provider behavior and recognize interruptions of an established patterns. As we do not know for which searches which provider should bring results we know have to test manually each provider and check if it still works. Your work should give our tester a hint that a provider worked (and established a pattern) and does not work anymore. Here is a pattern example. provider 13 always shows prices for a certain flight destination (FRA -SIN) provider 13 shows up with 10 search results on average per day Interruption: provider shows no results at all anymore for a week OR provider does not show results for FRA SIN anymore BUT NO interruption provider had not brought results in the last 2 hours The tool you should design should be intelligent enough to recognize patterns, evaluate if the interruption is big enough and then alert us via email. The algorithm should work on the table in teh example but also for other similar tables after little customizations. This is a challenging project and needs a well trained IT brain :) ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Perl or PHP Debian or other Linux MySQL
