I have created an Excel ? workbook with many worksheets.? Each worksheet has many calculational results, charts, and tables, even Solver scenarios.? Also, each worksheet has 2, 3, or more named cells.? I named the cells with words, like "chart" or "array".? ? I created a Word document that has hyperlinks to the Excel named cells.?
Over time, I have edited the worksheets by adding more diagrams, charts, or formulas, and even adding new worksheets to the workbook.? Somehow, unexpectedly, this has caused every named cell to revert to its original Excel row-and-column address.? ? I renamed the cells but it happens again.?
I need to find a way to stop this name reversion, or to lock and protect the named cells so that they cannot be changed nor can the names revert back to normal cell addresses.? It would still be nice if people could edit the worksheets, but if necessary, lock and protect the entire workbook if this is the only way.
Bidder must be a skilled Excel user who understands the way Excel handles names and other worksheet functions.? Do not bid on this until you have carefully read the attached.? Your bid must refer specifically to the tasks for this project.? Generic replies will be summarily rejected.? I will not award the project until the closing deadline, so do not rush.?
