X-cart implementation

Good day, Greetings from Canada. We are interested in deploying an x-cart license (Gold) that we purchase four years ago, but never used. We are looking for an integrator to implement a webstore. X-Cart is a non-hosted cart application (publisher's website: [login to view URL]). We seek offers only from experienced x-cart implementers. If you are unfamiliar with x-cart, or have no particular expertise with x-cart, please do NOT bid! Valcomp is a distributor in Canada for Lexmark (a printer manufacturer). We have an advanced prototype of a webstore set up at the following URL but we are unhappy with it for one reason in particular: there is no "configurator" to help our customers choose the correct products. We are not interested in this solution. 1) For reference, please see pages 86 and 87 of 332 in the PDF for a printer called the Lexmark C748dte. This PDF was shared here (large file!). See also the corresponding links here: [login to view URL] and more specifically [login to view URL] 2) The Volusion cart already has all the products, all of which have been correctly set into categories, sub-categories and sub-sub-categories. All the data-entry work has been done. We can provide CSV files with all names, prices, descriptions, weights, dimensions, etc. 3) We understand that the configurator in X-Cart is quite good ([b]is this true??[/b]). We would like our customers to select a printer from a list similar to this list: [login to view URL] and then be able to add features to the selected printer, using a page which resembles Page 87 in the PDF. Of course, only features applicable to the selected printer are presented to the customer. The configurator should also disallow invalid configurations. (It is, for example, generally possible to have two paper input drawers 27S2100, but only one 27S2100 is allowed if 27S2400 is also installed). 4) We would prefer to have our X-Cart store run on a Virtual Machine in our offices in Toronto. In Phase 2 of the project, we will want to have real-time price and availability information pushed from our database (DB/2) to the X-Cart store.
