Refugee Hunger Simulation Model

A PC based simulation model of refugee nutrituation requirements. The computer must run on a Windows system. I was thinking that it could be written in Access - Visual Basic. This first model would be limited in scope, but must be written so it can be expanded to include additional operator input variables and if - then rules. As the model is revised additional output variable would be added to the simulation model. The intent of the model is for its use as a training tool for ahigh school and college students, if the simulation tool was extensive enough than actual relief providers could evaluate possible stratagies. As a student user learned more about refugee issues they could use this knowlege to build more complex scenairos and "what if" situations. The ability to create simple graphs based on output data is required. Text messages as an output for each simulation cycle is required. The results of a given simulation period would be presented to the user in a combination of a numerical table and written paragraphs. The ability to ask the simulation an expert type question (ask a doctor a question....) given very specific inputs is required. The ability to present full color pictures as a background is required. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). 4) Prefer CD format for information end product. 5) Additional requirements will be added prior to final contract. ## Platform Must be able to run on Windows XP PC with a modern processor and a reasonable amount of memory space.
