Retail POS Web development

About us: We are a new startup selling retail POS (Point of sales) systems. We are looking for a honest, committed and talented team of developers who are proficient with PHP/Ajax. To save time, this will be built and redesigned based on an existing opensource PHP Point-of-sale system. We have went through the functions of this demo pos system and it meet our needs partially. Our customers are small sized retail shop owners: Customers' who purchase our system will use it in their physical retail stores. The POS system will have to be integrated with hardwares such as bar code scanner/printer, printers and Cashdrawer(Till machines). Customers might have multiple outlets hence their inventory will be connected to a centralized database. What we will require: 1) A corporate website where we sell this POS system to our customers. - It will includes the information such as about us, product features, pricing etc (more info to be filled) and an online payment gateway where we can process order via credit card 2) Retail POS portal - This will be the core functionalities required. Our competitors would be online companies like [login to view URL] and www.posterita.com. 3) Super Admin portal / Content Management System - This will be for us to manage our customers (the business owners) We are really seeking for quality products and design. Main bulk of our customers will not be computer literate and non IT savvy users. Beautiful, clean and easy to use interface is what we are looking for. I apologise if this is too lengthy but i am very particular about the end product and i have been disappointed with a lot of proposals from other freelance websites, where bidders do not even understand my business.
