Backup Product

We require a backup application that acts as a disaster recovery application. A simple one click solution to backup and entire drive and restore an entire drive. Backups should be able to be done to CD/DVD media and possibly other removable media if required. Restore should be able to be done on a fully formatted hard disc in DOS mode, (before a Windows install), as Windows will need to be included in the backup. Basically, user backs up entire drive (this will need to include ALL files, including in-use system files), users hard drive crashes, user formats drive and inserts first DVD/CD disc, boots and the disc restores the entire drive exactly the same way it was upon last backup. Please note that we would prefer the CD/DVD writing be internal and not use other third party ocx/dll files. As well, we would prefer the project be done in VB6 if possible, as we develop in this environment and would find it difficult for updates, etc. if this was coded in another language. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform All versions of Windows preferable (9x,ME,2000,XP,2003)
