Database Extract, Transform, and Load

I have a legacy database in a DBMS called Dataflex and a new schema created in SQL Server 2008. This project involves building the extract, transform, and load operations for one of the tables in the Dataflex schema to bring it into the schema in the SQL Server schema. The transformation technology has not been defined so this project is open to any type of system, as long as the result is a system that can be installed in my clients environment without additional expense. We have SQL Server 2007 and a Connx solutions ODBC driver for Dataflex. This will be the first project in a larger sequence. This project focuses on a single table transformation. The larger picture involves transforming 50 tables in Dataflex to 70 tables in SQL Server 2008. ## Deliverables Attached is a file containing an excel spreadsheet that has the detailed column level mapping.
