I've got a website that was built in coldfusion about 4 or 5 years ago. It has a custom CMS (not sure what platform) and a dropdown menu. The dropdown menu flyouts don't work in internet explorer 8 when compatibility mode is turned on. They work if it's turned off and in other browsers.
I'm not sure what type of a problem this falls under, whether it's javascript or coldfusion or what. All I need is the dropdown menu to work in all browsers no matter how they are configured.
## Deliverables
The site on which I need the work done is www.whirlwindsteel.com. If you turn on compatibility mode you should see that the dropdown menus don't work. Most of the main navigation headings have sections that should drop down on mouse over. Ideally, I'd like the work done without having to set up a third party hosting, etc. Currently the site is hosted with a company that charges an arm and a leg to get anything done, so I'd like to minimize all contact with them. I'll need to open up a hole in the firewall once I've got someone to work on this for me - and I'll need an ip address to do so. If the work can't be done in your own development environment and must be done live, I'd prefer that it's done late at night.
Thanks
