Need Joomla scrolling pages by category (with or without joomla)

I have a simple Joomla site that uses SobiPro. I have also attached a photo detailing what I'd like. The info on that shows up on the right can be in a shadow box or just show up as it does in the attached photo. Basically, I would like the following functionality: -Main Joomla page shows all SobiPro entries in a page scroller for a particular category based on the current date (All days of the week). When you click the right arrow, the page will scroll from Monday to Tuesday or Tuesday to Wednesday, etc. The page will default to whatever day of the week it is. -When the entry image is clicked, a shadowbox will open with the full details from the SobiPro database table, which includes: 1. The Google map from the city, state, address combinations 2. All other info from the entry 3. Close button to close the shadowbox and return to the current page Also, if there is a better way of accomplishing this, SobiPro and Joomla are not necessarily required.
