Magento modifications registration.php --I am hiring now start now

essentially you will be slicing up the current registration form and incorporating it into a simple multi step process deleting many fields. a simplified registration form for magento based on the current coding and packaging it so i can upload extract it to and so it works with my other magento sites or turning it into a exstension so i can install it, creating magento exstensions is pretty easy I will give you info on this but prefer you have already done it. TASK 1 Create a multi step registration form 3 steps will be displayed in a cookie based popup on landing pages ((i already have this popup done)) so we will be adding the code to this based on what i have already done create the first step register via email with no password :) no easy feat magento eliminated this functionality in v1.9.1 I have circumvented that and have step 1 code completed and tested. I want this either built as a exstension or package much like the popup I put together based upon a tutorial so i can re-use it at my other sites on other servers that also use this parts finder system and packaged for me to install at my other sites along with the dependencies the pop up/parts finder/core files etc. Step 1 ! DONE enter email upon doing so it will create their account and a email will be dispatched containing a system generated password which of course they can edit. Link in email to login page etc. naturally a email template for it (see update I did it myself) after entering their email they will have 2 options {Continue}or {maybe later->{original submit button} if {continue} they will be taken to (Step 2) if {maybe later{original submit button} then they will be logged in and directed to the edit account page this already works as well just explaining things. Step 2 here they will fill in their {{then year make model engine}}from a drop down list that will pull its info from the sql we use a parts finder extension (see update) Just like the registration form currently works (to be discussed with you) so it need to pull its info from that extension sql entries for the {{year make model engine}}. or preferably the parts finder extension thats in the header at any rate this year make model selection will be stored as a customer attribute which with custom fields extension it already does however this needs to be converted to the parts finder system or modified to draw from the parts finder extension sql and function accordingly the custom attributes extension does not have built in functionality for sub drop downs like the parts finder does which they should at any rate the user should be able be able to edit as needed or add additional vehicles from their my account page. Which with the custom attributes they can. {Continue}or {maybe later{original submit button} if {continue} they will be taken to (Step 3) if {maybe later{original submit button} then they will be logged in and directed to the edit account page ** note already using a custom customer attribute that does this but it needs to work more like the part finder exstension or I prefer the part finder exstension be used instead. Step 3 here they will fill in their first name last name and phone number so they click submit and it will register and log in and sent to the my account page. {Submit and login} ->they will be taken to edit account page - additional noted factors this {{year make model engine}} tool is in the header and product pages of the site once they log in there should be a button they can click that will set it to their vehicle "use my saved auto" i feel this should take a skilled magento developer maybe 3-5hrs so bid accordingly. Im sure someone has already done this before I can be the first person to ask.
