I have a custom WordPress Checkout form that requires a specific username format (YY-XXXXXX). XXXXXX has to be numbers and 6 digits. If user enters less than 6 digits, I need the form to display an error.
I already had another programmer do 95% of the work except the max requirement and the error stated above. Please only bid if you have the requisite skills to do the job because I need this as soon as possible.
I will share the PHP and JS files with you to speed up the process.
Hello,
I can add the logic to check the validity of the username format and show a message notifying an error.
Could we discuss further in a chat?
I will start when you send me the PHP and JS files.
Thanks and regards,
Ha Nguyen

Here's how you do it.
1. Split the string into two strings using the dash so you end up with YY and XXXXXX.
2. Check that the second string has no more and no less than 6 characters.
3. Check that each character in the second string is of a value between 0 and 9.
If it doesn't meet those criteria then display an error.
I can get you the PHP code that does this within a day.
