Shopify Small Task

[login to view URL] needs to be slightly updated. At present, when a customer were to load a product that has Color for Option 1, it works great. The first product image is automatically selected and it looks great and works correctly. However, if a customer loads a page that does not have Color as Option 1, it works great except it does not automatically select the first image. It shows the first image and the customer can click on the first image to select it as well as select any other image or make any other selections but what it should do is automatically have the first image show up as selected when the product first loads. This should work if there are no options or as many as 3 different options. We suspect it might have something to do with: {% if image.attached_to_variant? %} id='thumb_{{[login to view URL]}}' {% if [login to view URL] == product.selected_or_first_available_variant %} class="thumb_div thumb_selected" {% else %} class="thumb_div" {% endif %} {% else %} class="thumb_div" {% endif %} but are not fully sure that is the case. Is this something you can do as a small task? Basically need it to automatically "click" on the first variable image when the page is loaded when "Color" is not being used as Option 1 so it highlights the first image. That's it.
