I'm looking for someone to teach me about the right way to run a Python script 24/7 on a server, and will pay your normal hourly rate for whatever time we are discussing this and you are teaching me. I am a programmer who has been working with Python for a while now, but have never ran scripts 24/7 in the background, and I have done some research into this but will like to learn from an expert who really knows the right way to do this. The setup I am using is a digitalocean droplet with Ubuntu 16.04 and Nginx, so you should be able to teach me how to use this setup to achieve: - scripts which run 24/7 without the terminal having to be open - ways to know if the script has generated any errors and managing those errors the best way - ways to kill the script and restart when needed - ways to handle the output from the scripts. Hello, how are you? I have read your description and it's very easy for me. You should create service file in /etc/systemd/system folder and enable service.
