Hi, We are looking for a developer to work with us customising Woocommerce by adding file upload and status features to the cart. The process will be as follows: 1) User uploads PDF file when adding item to cart. 2) PDF is copied to file system location where it will be picked up for processing. 3) PDF file will be processed by a 3rd party system. 3) PDF thumbnail and status of file (processed OK/not usable) to be integrated into cart/checkout pages (this process is asynchronous). We currently have WCUF in use which provides the interface and functionality of file uploads. We just need to access the file for processing as soon as it is uploaded and not wait until the cart has been checked out. As a result we need to access files which have only been assigned random temporary filenames.

Hello Good Day If I correctly understand, you have the WCUF plugin already configured on your WooCommerce site which accepts the PDF file being uploaded. What is really lacking is copying it out to a location which is being monitored by a 3rd party system for processing. My questions are as follows Have you configured WCUF on Cart page or Checkout page? If it is configured on the Checkout page how do you want to handle the processing of PDF file and thumbs being generated before? Also, I need to understand the steps which lead the user/which lead to prompt to attach the pdf to the cart. Once you share the existing site i would then be able to check and ask further questions. You are looking for a plugin for your woocommerce to upload a file and process using a 3rd party tool. I can easily bid on the plugin as we are seniors and have built our own themes in WordPress. The uncertainty is the 3rd party tool as we know nothing about it. We can pickup on such tools quickly so don't see it as a big hindrance.
