Job Purpose   We are looking for a person to provide guidance and support to a remote team who are creating and maintaining a mobile application that has been developed in C# using the Xamarin framework.   Job Summary - Learning Phase This position is open to a person who is just starting out in the field of leadership, project management and marketing. We’re looking for a person with a thirst for knowledge who can learn on the job and gain the skills needed. As this is an entry level position we understand you will take time to get up to speed and so initially much of your time will be spent with online learning, trying out the tools you will need to perform your job and gradually getting more and more involved with the team and application that they are developing. Your willingness to learn will be an important part of this first stage and we will provide as much assistance as possible. During this learning phase you will be expected to gain a deep knowledge of the following:
 Fundamentals of Project Planning and Management Introduction to Marketing Basic coding using the languages C# or Python. Basics of Mobile application development using the Xamarin framework UX / UI design Basic graphic design using Adobe Illustrator and XD Fundamentals of Project Planning and Management Once you have learned these skills you will take on additional responsibilities
 Job Summary - Project Manager / Marketing Manager In this position you will be responsible for guiding the team who are involved in the development of a mobile application, for assisting in the specification of requirements and for monitoring progress of the people involved. You will assist in identifying requirements and in implementing solutions, to make our mobile application more effective. You will spend time looking into other similar applications and help us to understand how our application can be changed to incorporate some of the things that you have seen while researching other applications. 
 Job Requirements:  Candidate must have a thirst for knowledge and a desire to succeed A Bachelor’s Degree Excellent interpersonal skills Must be comfortable with the English language Must be comfortable working alone or in a team. Must be willing to visit team members in Ortigas. Good time-management skills Great interpersonal and communication skills. Critical thinker with good problem-solving skills. You must be the kind of person who will never give up try to find an answer. It’s important to note that this is a job for a person who wants to continually acquire new knowledge. The job is not for a person who wants to do a simple repetitive daily job. For the person that accepts this position you will be the first of our employees working in the Philippines but will be working with others who are involved in different projects ad you will have remote support also. Your work location can be remote but we would like you to visit the office in Ortigas once a week. You will have core work hours from Monday to Friday work hours but with start and end time flexibility that will also allow you to work during the weekends. Overtime will be an option that we encourage and during these difficult times with the Covid virus we will allow some additional flexibility to work from home. Work time from home or the office will be tracked on the computer so this will give you additional work time flexibility to take short breaks or longer lunch times when you wish. Company Overview: Our company is based in Japan and we have strong connections with the Philippines. We are developing a mobile application called Memorise which will be used as a memory aid for people learning new languages and for those people who have facts to memorize. 

The application has been under development for almost two years and has gone through many changes and improvements.

And honestly, I do not have all those skills and experiences required for this position, heck, I'm not even sure if my application will be read or not since I know there are better applicants with star ratings and experiences out there. However, what I can be proud of is I'm a risk-taker and result-oriented person. I LEARN by DOING.
