Hi, I can write the program in python using object oriented methodology. The code will allow you to place multiple ships without overlapping, It will check if it can be placed horizontally and if not, then vertically. It will also allow for player identification (player 1 or player 2) so that you can extend the program in the future. The board size will be configurable (number of rows and columns). The size of the ship (number of cells it occupies) will also be configurable. I am an expert in python and will be able to deliver a well documented modular program. thanks sanjay
